The EAL Program uses WIDA as the primary framework to gauge student proficiency, CAT4 and MAP assessments serve as complementary tools, providing additional insights to determine the appropriate level of support for entry and exit from the program.
FCIS provides multi-level EAL support for G1 – G6 students to ensure they thrieve in an English-medium environment.

A 4-week intensive program for new students with limited English—focuses on survival language, classroom routines, and confidence-building.
For early learners (G7–10)—builds foundational vocabulary, grammar, reading, and writing through age-appropriate topics.
For G10–12 students—prepares for academic English (AP/A-Level coursework, university lectures) through nonfiction texts, essays, and presentations.
