We offer personalized, one-on-one counseling to ensure each student finds their best-fit university. Our support is comprehensive, covering academic planning, extracurricular activities, essay writing, scholarships, and financial aid.

Meet the Director

Jusa
Director of University Counseling FCIS

Gringo Jusa is the Director of University Counseling at Forest City International School. He has a master’s degree from Harvard University, where he focused on AI in education, student-centered innovation, and college admissions. He also holds a master’s degree in English from the University of Malaya and is a registered Cambridge IGCSE and A Level examiner, with teaching licenses from the USA. He has worked across Asia, the Middle East, and North America, supporting diverse student populations through teaching, college counseling, curriculum leadership, and educator training.

College & Career Readliness Program

Our structured programs set students on the path to success with a clear plan for each grade level:

Grade 9 - Career Readiness and Introduction to College Counseling

Students explore careers, set academic goals, and learn the value of extracurriculars.

Grade 10 - Building on Foundation

Students revisit goals, further explore colleges and careers, and learn about entrance exams, financial aid, and online presence.

Grade 11 - Preparing for College Applications

Focus on SAT, ACT, and IELTS/TOEFL preparation with suggested testing periods. Students finalize college lists, explore financial aid/scholarships, and develop strong application materials (resumes, essays, recommendation letters).

Grade 12 - College Application & Admission Support

Weekly counseling guides students through applications, financial aid, and college prep. Intensive support for finalizing applications, essays, interviews, and financial aid.
